Asharqia Chamber presents you with the best greetings, and would like to inform you about receiving a letter from the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (1891) dated 4/7 / 1439 that referred to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment No. 35488 dated 1/7/1439. It refers to the letter of the Deputy Governor for conformity and quality in the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization No. (4487 / p) and dated (19/6/1439), on the decision of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization in its meeting No. (161), which was held on 24/10/1438 corresponding to 18/7/2017.
The decision approved the technical regulations No. (M-161-17-07-02) on "Building Materials Part III: Hydraulic Links and Related Product," and the technical regulation No. (M-161-17-07-02) on "Building Materials Part 4: Bricks, Tiles, Ceramics, Sanitary Ware, and Related Products." This was published in the Official Gazette on 9/1 / 1439 corresponding to 29/9/2017, and enters into force on 11/7 / 1439 corresponding to 28/3/2017.
